Homemade Raw Chocolate

This would have to be one of the the most simple and healthy chocolate recipes out there.

With only 4 ingredients (plus optional toppings), this is a great treat to keep in your freezer at all times so when that craving hits, you know exactly what you are putting into your body. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw cacao butter
  • 1 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup rice malt syrup, honey or coconut sugar
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, coconut, orange zest, cacao nibs

Method:

  1. Melt the cacao butter in a bowl over simmering water on a very low heat until just melted.
  2. Add the cacao powder, rice malt syrup and salt, mix until well combined.
  3. Pour into chocolate moulds, mini cupcake baking cups or a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Place in the freezer immediately to set.
