Sugar Free Red Velvet Smoothie

There's chocolate smoothies and red velvet cupcakes, but have you ever had a Red Velvet Smoothie? And one that's vegan and sugar free while you're at it?

Look no further, this blush creation is packed with antioxidants and will soothe all of your senses.

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond/ coconut milk (or milk of choice)
  • 3/4 cup brewed kkao Co. Cacao Tea
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 medium zucchini, washed + frozen
  • 1 tablespoon pea protein powder
  • 3 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon beetroot powder (or 1 small cooked beetroot)
  • Rice malt syrup or stevia to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder or extract

  • Toppings: Raspberries, coconut & cacao nibs
  • Optional additions: Chia seeds, peanut butter

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a high powered blended and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into a glass, add desired toppings and serve immediately.
