The cacao goes through a careful timber box natural fermentation & slow sun drying process, before being slow roasted and winnowed to separate the husk from the nibs, leaving delicate notes of coconut, tropical fruit and spices.

Cacao Tea for the dark chocolate lovers - Our single origin Peruvian tea is USDA and EU certified organic, fair trade certified and comes from a plantation of Piura Blanco cacao of the Criollo variety in the Northeast of Peru. Reminiscent to a piece of 70-90% dark chocolate, Peru cacao tea boasts characters of walnut, molasses, dates, dark chocolate and subtle pepper notes.Made from 100% cacao husk with no artificial flavourings or additives, our cacao teas offer a chocolate experience like no other.
